Wow, we have been so busy over the summer months with princess pamper parties, weddings, holiday preperations and getting clients ready for the fab weather we have enjoyed over the last few weeks. Now it is time to send the children back to school and reflect on what great weather they managed to have over their summer break!

We are now looking to forward to the Beauty Show which is held in London at the beginning of October - we are starting to ask our clients what colours they would like to see available in gel polish - so far dark red's and purples have been their most popular choices! Short nails have also been a beauty trend of the summer and this looks like it will be continued into the rest of the year.

We will also be looking into some of the new nails trends which have just started appearing for you all to see on Facebook, Twitter and Instgram such as the super shiny chrome (mirrored) nails - these will be perfect for the upcoming party season!

If you want to find out about some of the treatments or products we use in the salon please feel free to get in touch.

On Tuesday 17th May, Vickie was lucky enough to be invited by Prince Charles to a garden party to celebrate 40 years of helping over 825,000 young people change their lives. Prince Charles and a number of A list stars graced the ground of Buckingham Palace to celebrate this incredibly milestone. The Buckingham Palace grounds are unbelieveable and you would not think you were in the middle of Central London with how quiet it is. We were allowed to explore the grounds and meet the local residents (swans) of the palace.

To be part of the Princes Trust story is an incredible honour and I'm sure Iconic Beauty will be helping other young people over the coming years achieve their hopes and dreams.

To celebrate the Princes Trust reaching it's 40th year of helping thousands of young people, HRH Prince Charles is holding a garden party to celebrate this amazing milestone!

Vickie has been lucky enough to be invited and meet Prince Charles. A good excuse to use the salon to full advantage before the big day!

It is amazing to be part of the story for such a wonderful charity and the amazing work it does.

You can find out about all the amazing programmes the Trust offers by visiting their website.

Last night, Vickie was lucky to be part of an amazing even with the Princes Trust.

Vickie will be a Young Ambassador for the next 15 months attending lots of different event across the South East talking about how the Trust help start up Iconic Beauty and the success it ha had since in the last 5 years.

Million Makers aims to raise important funds for the Trust to help thousands of young people across the UK. Last night was in aid of celebrating the individuals and the companies who are helping to make that happen.

Vickie was invited along to the evening to give a speech about how the Trust have helped her and the great work that it does. She was also lucky enought to co-host the evening alongside the wonderful Gabby Logan who has been an ambassador for the Trust for the last 15 years. A great deal of money was raised and the winners will go on to the Regional finals in March to see if they will win the whole competition. Either way, they are inspirations and their hard work and dedication to the Trust is admirable.

Well done to all who took part and thank you for all the hard work. xxx
